Sharon is complaining

Hi there, Cinders here, Sharon is whining at me for never blogging on this site anymore.
so just a quick post - I am still rather in shock that she has put a post of me in a bikini on here, so this blogpost is just to remind her that I have the password for this blog, and as soon as I can find a suitable embarassing photo of her, I shall pounce!
Hahahahahahahaha (evil cackle)

Christmas morning

This is the view from my parents balcony on Christmas morning as I rushed over there as soon as they got up. I had been up since 3.30am as had some wrapping still to do and was soooo excited to see if Santa had found me!

Come on mum and dad I know Santa left me some presents here as I have been soooo good this year! Check out her festive slippers bless her!

Christmas day outside and wearing sunglasses, would you ever!
Quick walk with Cinders on the beach to give the dogs a good start to the day. Yes lassie came to say hi before her new owners came to get her, she jumps a 6 foot high fence no less!

I had to get some eggs for super chef Beth so the dogs waited on the golf buggie for me.
Here she is and has been baking since first thing, our own cookie lady! The only time my oven gets used is when Beth is in the house.

Check them out, they were divine and just melted in your mouth.

Look who popped over to say happy Christmas and for once didn't even do the finger!

Cinders with a musical hat and a large bag of goodies for the kids at Banyan Bay and Grand colony.

I was supposed to wear one too but one muppet a day is quite enough you think? Check out those smiles, anyone would think we were happy bunnies today.

A champagne breakfast was to be had at our house thanks to Beth and Cindy's mum for bringing the bubbly from England in one piece.

Walter kept popping over as we had one of the very many turkeys in our oven, it got a lot of use today and needs a break now for a few weeks!

Christmas day and the 2 English mums are in the pool, that doesn't happen every year I bet!

Cinders taking 5 before we head over to Pedro's for a mad one no doubt.

Dad sussing out his camera, it was all very relaxed for a short time anyhow.

I guess apart from the cookies and a bloody great turkey in my oven this was a lot like a normal day. A shout out to the rest of our friends and families that follow this blog, I hope you all where ever you are and what ever you do this holiday are happy and healthy LOL us lot in Belize.

It's a dogs life in Belize at Christmas!!!

Ummm well Lassie reappeared last night and will have to stay till tomorrow when her lovely new owners can come get her, hence she has to have silly Santa bag around her neck!

Lisbon in her usual position whilst not roaming the streets of San Pedro with me frantically looking for her!
Well as I had gotten up so early she wanted to come and be near me and sneaked on the clean chair, it is Christmas so what the heck. It was 3.30am when I got up and still 3 hours later I am wrapping presents, who's idea is all this anyhow!

Off to Pedro's later to join over 70 people for a fabbo lunch and then the biggest secret Santa we have ever had. I wish all our followers out there a fantastic Christmas and a healthy and happy 2009.

Christmas eve in Belize!

Well what do you buy your parents who have just about all they need, in England anyhow. They needed wheels and low and behold they now have some, happy Christmas mum and dad!
Off they go to blow up them tires and whizz around San Pedro.

What simple fun these kids are having with the most photographed tree on the island. I get into work and find the DeLorenzo's and the Mooney's from New York just finishing breakfast and hanging out with their families at Banyan Bay.

Fred and Bob and Linda watching the kids and keeping them in line with a whistle that when Fred blows you all jump to attention.

Mama Mooney as we fondly call her, this is the very glamorous Diane that just takes it all in her stride as she watches her beautiful family having fun.

This young man made it to the end and shows the others how it's done.

Fred DeLorenzo and Robert Mooney, two great friends and business partners that fell in love with San Pedro a couple of years ago, so much so that they bought second homes in Grand Colony so we will see them more and more each year!

A group shot of their children having the most fun in a peaceful environment with no worries to anyone bless them the little angels!

Happeeee Christmas from Eli and Olivier in Bottom Time dive shop at Banyan Bay.

I popped over to see Jim and Jamilla and loved their tree so a shout out to everyone from these guys.(he looks different without his wig!)

How Marie from Gecko graphics is still smiling especially with me as I was very late with my order and they were hoping to get away from work at 1pm on Christmas Eve! Thank you so much and what a stella job they do with very original presents as you will see tomorrow. She still hasn't been shopping for her Phil yet so I feel better about not being the only one, how did the 25th come around so quickly we were asking each other?

This lovely family decided today was the day to take a tour of our property at Banyan Bay and Grand Colony so they spent some time with the lovely Erik and how festive they were too.

Evening came around too quickly and it is time to eat again! Here we have some of the fantastic staff at Rico's bar and grill.

The menu tonight was as follows

Myself, Beth and my mum and dad enjoying the fresh air outside.

Manuel always happy to smile for the camera.

The food was great as always and the dessert very interesting, not cake but still ok!

Cindy and her mum popped by to have a glass of wine with us and say happy Christmas before we see each other again tomorrow.

Mum and dad were planning on going to Mass this evening so we figured the night had come to a close as some of us have a ton of presents still to wrap and cards to write ttfn Happy Christmas to you all from us here in paradise LOL.

Mum and dad have arrived!

Wow where did the time go as it seems on recently that my parents said ok we will come for Christmas this year and spend it with our number 3! Saturday came at me like a hurricane ( we can say that now the season is over for another year!) So there I am rushing around at 90 miles an hour all day Saturday getting their condo ready and making it Christmassy, thank you to Beth who joined in and was whizzed around on the golf cart at my speed bless her!
Luckily the plane was a wee bit late so we were there before them which makes a change for me as friends and family will agree with.
Another year older and seriously looking no different even if number 2 sister says they are shrinking I don't see it.
Welcome back to San Pedro Thomas and Maureen Boyd!
I recognise that man!
Bloody hell it's mother ready to take us all in hand!

Who does he think he is Matt Lauer or something he he.

A couple of hours later waving me goodnight after they are all settled in around the corner from me on the beach, near enough to pop over for a cup pf tea but far enough away from the dogs!

Sefkow's do it twice!

Here once again this year Bob and Cheryl Sefkow, this time with all their girls and to make it really special they celebrated 25yrs of marriage by doing it all over again.
All the lovely ladies looked very tropical in sarongs and bare feet!

What a lovely couple and still smiling after all that time, it must be love.

One of their daughters with a tattoo or two.

This picture was taken just after Cheryl commented that the first time with Bob only lasted 7 minutes! Ummm I hope she was talking about the ceremony-he he!

It was a beautiful sunset and they were the first to christen the new dock and the Gazebo at the end for just such purposes.

They were about to eat in Rico's and then dance the night away, by all accounts they had a great evening and kept the staff dancing along with them.

The restaurant did Banyan Bay proud, nothing is too small or too big for them to handle as proved once again.
